How we handle customer information.

This starter notice explains the intended handling of information submitted through the Go Bahamas Rentals website. It should be reviewed alongside your final rental agreement and by a Bahamian attorney.

Information collected

We may collect contact details, rental dates and preferences, a driver's licence, government-issued identification, vehicle condition photos, damage reports, and information relevant to a rental request or agreement.

Why it is collected

We use the information to identify drivers, assess rental eligibility, communicate about requests, document vehicle condition, manage rentals and deposits, protect vehicles, respond to incidents or disputes, and meet legal or insurance requirements.

Storage and access

Submitted documents and vehicle photos are stored in private hosted file storage. Access is limited to authorized Go Bahamas Rentals staff. Files are not made available through a public customer lookup.

Retention

Information should be retained only as long as reasonably needed for the rental relationship and applicable legal, tax, insurance, fraud-prevention, or dispute requirements. Go Bahamas Rentals will establish a written deletion schedule.

Your choices

Customers may ask what personal information is held about them and request correction or deletion where applicable by contacting gobahamasrentals@gmail.com. Confirm that this mailbox is active before relying on it.
